Our story began when my brother, Erik 3 months old, and
I wanted to go camping. Mom was all for it and decided we needed some new
camping gear and other stuff to make us comfortable. So off we went to the city to begin
our shopping adventure!
Later that day Mom's car was stolen! with all the new camping
gear, our car seats and all the everyday stuff that Mom usually drags along. Since we are
not a pair that gives up easily, we still wanted to go camping. . . if Mom would help.
Well Mom doesn't give up either! She got busy sewing, which is
something she never does and she made the first (of many) support cushions for her
Snuglbuds (Erik and me). We took the cushions on our camping trip and used them everywhere
and for everything! It didn't take long for them to become our buds...our Travelbuds. We
met a lot of nice people who stopped to chat for a while and most of them described us as
"hardy folks" - braving the elements in a tent with Mom and Dad. That's what us
guys do! All of these people were real impressed with our Travelbuds and asked Mom where
they could get one.
Anyway, by the time our camping trip was over we decided that Mom
had better get busy making some more so that other snuggle buds could be as comfortable as
are.

What followed was ten months of product development and
testing. Within six months, of product launch, the Travelbud® was being used by hospitals
and parents for premature infants, small and low birth weight
infants, infants with low muscle tone, cerebral palsy and other special needs.
All infants need support!! and the Travelbud is being
used by more and more parents to custom fit all types of equipment including: car seats,
high chairs, strollers, shopping carts, bicycle carriers and wagons. It works just
as well on flat surfaces as a travel bed, change table cushion or exercise pad.
It is made in a variety of colors and prints and is
available in three sizes.
